Example: Find 40% of 45. Enter 45 x 40% and the display changes to 0.4. Press [=] to complete the calculation: 45 x 0.4 = 18. The answer 18 shows in the display.

The percentage of a value can be added or subtracted using addition and subtraction.

  • Enter: 45 + 40% and the display changes to 18.
